Privacy

Octopus Agile Prices is operated by Krome Events Ltd. The free price board does not require an account. If you subscribe to email alerts, we process the data below to deliver the service.

What we collect

• Email address and UK postcode (and derived grid region) for alert delivery.
• Payment and subscription status via Stripe — we never store full card numbers.
• Optional alert preferences (e.g. threshold p/kWh).
• Anonymous/technical logs for reliability and abuse prevention.

Why we use it

To send daily digests and optional threshold emails, bill subscriptions (including the 7-day free trial then 99p/month), provide cancellation via Stripe Customer Portal, and keep the service secure. Lawful bases include contract performance and legitimate interests in operating a reliable alerts product.

Processors

Payments are handled by Stripe. Alert emails are delivered by our email delivery provider. Hosting runs on our VPS infrastructure. If analytics is enabled (e.g. Plausible), it is privacy-oriented and does not use advertising cookies.

Retention & your rights

We keep subscriber records while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for accounting and support. You can cancel in the Stripe portal and email us to request access, correction, or deletion of your subscriber record (subject to legal retention). We do not sell personal data.
